When my house price went down more than 35-40%, I decided that I can notkeep the house any longer. It was my first house that I spent lots of time, efforts and money to make my home so I didn't want to let the house go but I had no other choice. Because I am a physician with significant monthly income, my bank said I didn't quality for loan modification or short sale.
I went to a real estate lawyer who promised to get me an approval for short sale of my house. After $5000 and 18 months of time, the lawyer could not get me an approval for short sale and I was back to square one. At that point, I decided to call the local real estate agents with lots of experience in short sale in the area. I was not too optimistic thinking my lawyer could not do it so how can a real estate agent help me much.

After finding the buyer, they talked to my bank very frequently and followed up on my case so diligently and closely that I didn't have to tell them to "please call or hurry up" or anything. The greatest thing about them is the work ethics. They works hard, staying on top of things, following up on things so promptly. For example, not a single phone call, email or text message I send went unanswered or answered later.
I still remember when they called me and said the short sale was approved. The moment of joy that I shared with them. It was so special because I knew it would not have been possible without them.
