What repairs should you make before selling your home?
If you want to get top dollar for your home here in the High Desert (Apple Valley, Victorville and Hesperia), you probably need to make all minor repairs and selected major repairs before going on the market for sale. Nearly all purchase contracts include an inspection clause, a buyer contingency that allows a buyer to back out if numerous defects are found, negotiate their repair or ask for a cash settlement.
The trick is not to overspend on pre-sale repairs and to make only the ones that will help insure your sale. We are experts in getting a home ready for sale.
